Pivoting your Business for Success
Running a business can be challenging, and despite your best efforts, things may not always go as planned. When this happens, it's essential to take a step back and re-evaluate your approach. Doing what you do daily may not be enough, and it may be time to try something new.
As an example, when my mirror business hit a rough patch, I realized that I needed to make a change. Despite my daily routine, sales were declining, and my business was struggling. Instead of giving up, I decided to pivot my approach. First, I took a hard look at my product offering and identify areas for improvement. I worked with my team to revamp our product designs and introduced new lines that better catered to our target audience. This helped us stand out in a crowded market and appeal to new customers.
Next, I explored new marketing channels, beyond what I had
been doing daily. I reached out to Architects and Interior Designers who may
need our products in their projects. This helped us increase our local sales.
Finally, I focused on improving the customer experience by redesigning our website. Improved our packaging, and introduced a customer loyalty program. This helped us build stronger relationships with our customers and increase repeat business.
By taking a step back and re-evaluating my approach, I was
able to turn my struggling mirror business around. Doing what you do daily may
not always be enough, and it's essential to be open to new ideas and
approaches. By pivoting and being resourceful, you can overcome obstacles and
build a successful business.
